We believe in the power of the world’s beauty and its ability to inspire growth, curiosity, and connection. At the heart of this mission is a deep commitment to giving back. We are also committed to being a partner to our Lake Norman community and giving back to it since it has given so much to us.
Our dedication to making a difference, however, extends beyond our local roots. While we are passionate about supporting our own community, we are equally devoted to giving back on a global scale. Whether in response to pressing global events or in support of natural causes, we are inspired to contribute where it matters most, making the world a better place for all.
EXPLORE MORE FUNDRAISING
At Explore More, we’re passionate about making a difference, and we’re always eager to partner with non-profits that share our commitment to positive change. We offer two dynamic ways to raise funds while exploring the world:
1. Donor Trips – When individuals affiliated with the same organization travel together, we can offer group discounts. These discounts are then donated directly to the non-profit, helping raise funds while enriching the travel experience.
2. Custom Donation Links – We create a unique link for a non-profit to share with its community. For every trip booked through the link, we make a donation to the organization, giving back with every journey taken.

THE WHY
When Jen married her husband Rob in 2011, they decided not to give traditional wedding favors. Instead, they left a note at each guest’s place, letting them know that a donation had been made in their honor to a children’s orphanage in Cambodia. During their honeymoon, Rob and Jen visited the orphanage, and even traveled on a fundraising trip across Cambodia, deepening their commitment to giving back.
For Jen and Rob, it’s always been vital to raise their twins with the understanding that the world is much larger than the bubble they often find themselves in. Before starting elementary school, the boys regularly volunteered with Jen at Refugee Support Services of the Carolinas, meeting children from diverse backgrounds and learning the power of empathy.
Though her busy schedule running a business and raising her family sometimes limits Jen’s ability to volunteer in person, she still finds ways to give back. Whether through incorporating volunteer work into travel or supporting causes through fundraising, Jen believes that philanthropy should be a central part of her business—because giving back is as important as exploring the world.
