Jen has a special connection to the cruise industry—without it, she wouldn’t be here.
Her parents met onboard a cruise ship in the 1960s en route to Australia. Jen’s grandmother was Australian and had married an American soldier during World War II. Her mom was traveling to visit family, while her dad was emigrating to Australia in search of a new adventure. But fate had other plans. Over two weeks at sea, they got to know each other, fell in love, and, as they say, the rest is history. Jen’s dad never ended up emigrating to Australia—he eventually followed her mom back to the U.S., where they built a life together, filled with international adventures.
