Jen has a special connection to the cruise industry – without cruising, she wouldn’t be here!
Her parents met onboard a cruise ship in the 1960s en route to Australia. Jen’s grandmother was Australian and had married an American soldier during World War II. Her mom was traveling to visit family, while her dad was emigrating to Australia in search of a new adventure. But fate had other plans. Over two weeks at sea, they got to know each other, fell in love, and, as they say, the rest is history. Jen’s dad never ended up emigrating to Australia, he eventually followed her mom back to the U.S., where they built a life together filled with international adventures that still inspires Jen today.
There’s something truly special about this mode of travel when done right. Cruises remove much of the uncertainty of travel, allowing you to focus on the experience – connecting with the world and the people you’re traveling with.
